Visions of the ocean

A year ago the inspiration to paint came back to me; I had been stuck in a brutal art block caused by the isolation of the pandemic, but the blend of turqouise hues in a photograph of tropical waves brought me back to creativity and warmth. I felt the need to emerse myself in the great bodies of water of Earth, and so I did exactly that, spending 3 months journeying alone along the Mediterranean seaside. This collection captures the obsession with water that led me to such a peaceful and reflective period in my life.
